In each round images are presented for a limited time, after which students answer questions about the details that they observed. Questions are rotated between age groups to encourage participation from all students. This activity is designed to be both entertaining and educational.
In this challenge, students are given a theme, and working in a team, they must come up with as many answers that fit the theme as they can. This activity encourages cooperation, creativity and outside the box thinking.
Students develop their logical thinking and sequencing skills by arranging items in a correct order according to a given category. This activity will cover a wide range of categories and encourages a better understanding of order and progression. It even has some humour included for good measure.
This activity will encourage students to form social connections as they are asked to guess how classmates have answered interesting questions. This not only encourages students to learn about their classmates, but it promotes communication and empathy as they try to consider others’ points of view. This challenge can also serve to stimulate conversation and foster new friendships.
Listening and comprehension are put to the test in this engaging activity. In each round students listen to captivating short stories with imaginative plots. Afterwards they answer fun and challenging questions about the stories they have just heard. Storyscape promotes active listening, critical thinking and a love of storytelling. This type of challenge makes learning an adventure.
