DOODLE DOOP
This challenging activity will have students enhance their observation skills by attempting to duplicate the details of a simple drawing. Students are presented with an image to study for a limited time and then attempt to recreate this drawing themselves. This activity promotes fine motor skills and attention to detail, inspiring students to observe closely and draw with precision.
MEMORY MASTER
Memory master is an activity where students sharpen their abilities by studying and recalling details from various pictures. In each round, images are presented for a limited time, after which students answer questions about the details that they observed. This game fosters attention to detail and enhances memory retention in a fun and engaging way.
PICTURE PUZZLER
Students must use their observational skills and critical thinking to identify the mystery image. As images get progressively more difficult, students will need to work with their teammates to determine what they are looking at before the timer runs out.
QUICK QUIZ
This engaging and exciting trivia game uses light up buzzers to build excitement and covers topics from human biology to Canadian geography, to outer space, and everything in between. Questions are designed for different age groups to encourage participation from all students. This activity is designed to be both entertaining and educational.
MIND READER
In this challenge, students work in teams and are given a theme. Each team must come up with multiple answers that fit the theme. This activity encourages cooperation, creativity and out of the box thinking.
DETECTIVE BINGO
In this exciting twist on a classic game, each student receives a bingo card filled with cartoon characters, each with their own unique features and personalities. The instructor reads out character descriptions and students must use their powers of observation and deduction to figure out which character is being described. One of our students’ all-time favourite activities!
BUDDY BUILDER
This activity will encourage students to form social connections as they are asked to guess how classmates have answered interesting questions. This activity promotes communication and encourages students to learn about their classmates. This challenge can also serve to stimulate conversation and foster new friendships.
STORYSCAPE
Listening and comprehension are put to the test in this engaging activity. In each round students listen to captivating short stories with imaginative plots. Afterwards they answer fun and challenging questions about the stories they have just heard. Storyscape promotes active listening, critical thinking and a love of storytelling. This type of challenge makes learning an adventure.
